Bath & District Canine Society Championship Show 2014 Critique

May I thank the committee for the invitation to officiate for Scottish Deerhounds at the above show. This is a breed I have admired and desired for over 35 years.I would also like to thank all the exhibitors as I very much appreciated your support on my first occasion to award Challenge Certificates in this wonderful breed and my stewards for their competence and who made the day go so smoothly. Finally I must also congratulate the committee and its helpers for the superb conditions of the showground itself and the maintenance of the car parking facilities under very difficult monsoon conditions.
I found the quality of the entry very good and I was extremely happy with my final line up of dogs and bitches. They were of excellent quality, well presented and  worthy of their places. I will follow the future of my top winners with interest.
